Akaash Open Enterprise Centre (AOEC) helps make water utilization more conditioned, more compliant, more future aware and more sustainable

All the water on Earth can be classified into 2 main categories (1) Saline water and (2) Fresh water. Man depends upon Fresh water mostly for his consumption. There are countries where saline water from oceans and seas has been made usable. It is important that we (the world over) use out of the box thinking to save water and ensure its availability.

Our fresh water sources are the icecaps & glaciers, rivers, streams, lakes, ponds, wells. We depend upon these water bodies and runoffs for our supply of water. India has set targets to use much of the run off water.

Harmful pollutants being discharged into water bodies, contamination of the ground water table, over exploitation of available water resources, inability to use all the water from runoffs and climate change has added to the emerging water crisis.

Hydro-poverty meaning lack of access to clean water or not being able to afford clean water is a crucial problem that will affect many parts of the world.

The need for us is to understand how important it is to protect, conserve and save water.

AOEC has developed a Save Water framework that can help a Consumer or Water Custodian of the state or community like BWSSB do this.
